| 1. Bed linen, towels and tea cloths are included within the rent. 2.
Most bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. Tenancies normally commence at
3.00p.m. and terminate at 10.00a.m. on the day of departure. 3.
Tenants are responsible for the cleaning and outgoing tenants are particularly
reminded to do their washing up and cleaning before leaving, in order that other
peoples holidays are not spoilt. 4.
No pets permitted. 5.
The establishment is non-smoking 6.
Bookings can only be accepted from family parties and not from parties of young
people. 7.
The property owner cannot be held responsible for any accident, loss or damage
which may be sustained by the hirer, member of his party, or visitor, or their
property however concerned. 8.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Once we have accepted the
booking, the applicant is liable for the balance of the rent. 9. All cancellations must be notified immediately by telephone. 10.
We do not ask for a damage deposit, but would point out that tenants are legally
held responsible for any damage and breakages, which should be reported and
replaced or paid for. 11. No more than 5 people are permitted in the barn (4 adults + cot subject to prior agreement) 12. The booking is made on the understanding that the Holiday Home will be placed at your disposal on the date stated. If this should not be possible through circumstances not under the control of the owner (e.g. fire, theft, damage, death or illness), then it cannot be guaranteed that an alternative holiday home will be provided, although every effort will be made to assist in this respect. If unsuccessful, your deposit/rent will be returned in full, but you will have no claim against the owner. 13.
Complaints not reported within 72 hours of occupation of the holiday home, and
subsequently confirmed by letter, cannot be entertained.
It is regretted that no correspondence can be entered into in the case of
complaints made upon departure or after you return home, when it will surely be
appreciated that it is quite impossible for the problems to be corrected or
effectively investigated. 14.
No rebates will be paid for mechanical or electrical failure of any kind.
Every effort shall be made to effect repair. 15.
In the interest of continued improvement, the owners reserve the right to alter
or delete amenities or facilities either advertised or previously available
without prior notice. 16.
While the representations contained in advertising matter are in good faith,
neither they or any oral representations will create liability on the owners,
and they do not form a part of this agreement. CancellationsThe conditions for cancellations are as follows: 1.
a) Serious illness of the Tenant or any other member of his party as listed on
the booking form. b)
Serious accident to Tenant or any other member of his party as listed on the
booking form. c)
Death of Tenant or any member listed. d)
Maternity 2.
The insurance does not cover: a)
Illness, accident or death of any person not a member of the listed party other
than immediate family member. b)
Posting away/abroad. c)
Redundancy. 3.
For a cancellation to be acceptable it must: a)
Be notified to us by telephone immediately. b)
Be confirmed in writing with doctors certificate if appropriate. c)
Be notified prior to holiday. 4.
All members of the hirers party must be listed on the booking form. IMPORTANT
NOTICE Please refer to paragraph 9 which also cover cancellations.
